Rusty Relics Is Almost Here!
There is something exciting about a place right before it opens.
The signs are going up. The shelves are being filled. The displays are changing every five minutes because someone finds one more thing that absolutely has to go there.
There are boxes everywhere, tags everywhere, ideas everywhere — and somehow, in the middle of all of it, Rusty Relics is starting to feel like home.
What started as an idea has slowly turned into a real place filled with antiques, vintage finds, old trucks, local stories, and a bakery tucked right inside.
What You'll Find at Rusty Relics
Rusty Relics was created to be more than a place where you walk in, buy something, and leave.
We want it to feel like a place you can wander through.
A place where you spot something on a shelf and say, “My grandma had one of those.”
A place where you find a piece you did not know you were looking for.
A place where you can grab something fresh from Brook's Bakery, look through old kitchenware, check out the trucks, and maybe leave with a story along with your purchase.
And Yes — Brook's Bakery Will Be Here Too
One of our favorite parts of Rusty Relics is that Brook's Bakery is built right into the experience.
That means while you're antique hunting, you may also find cinnamon rolls, babka, cookies, pies, focaccia, scones, brownies, or whatever happens to be coming out of the kitchen that week.
We are fully aware that this may result in people coming in for antiques and leaving with baked goods.
We are also fully aware that the opposite may happen.
We consider both outcomes successful.

We want the grand opening to feel fun, welcoming, and worth the drive.
So we're planning a day filled with:
- Antique and vintage shopping
- Fresh samples from Brook's Bakery
- Gift with purchase
- Old trucks and photo opportunities
- Seasonal displays
- Ribbon cutting at 2:00 PM
- Plenty of treasure hunting
And because this is an antique store, there is a very good chance you will also hear someone say:
“What is that thing?”
We consider that part of the experience.
A Little Bit About the Store
Rusty Relics has been built around the things we love: old pieces with history, useful things with character, vintage kitchenware, farmhouse finds, salvage, collectibles, furniture, seasonal pieces, and the kinds of objects you cannot always find in a regular store.
Some pieces are beautiful.
Some are practical.
Some are weird.
Those may be our favorites.
Why We Wanted to Open Rusty Relics
There is something special about old things.
They have already lived a life before they ever reach us.
A mixing bowl may have been used for Sunday dinners for forty years.
An old truck may have spent decades hauling tools, feed, lumber, kids, dogs, or all of the above.
A piece of furniture may have moved through three houses and two generations before ending up in ours.
That is what we love about antiques.
They come with history already built in.
We're Just Getting Started
The grand opening is only the beginning.
We are already planning future events, treasure hunts, workshops, seasonal displays, Truck & Treat, community photos, antique road trips, and plenty of reasons to keep coming back.
The store will keep changing.
The bakery menu will keep changing.
The displays will definitely keep changing.
And if history is any indication, someone will probably rearrange something five minutes after we think we're finally finished.
Come Be Part of the Beginning
There is only one first grand opening.
We would love for you to be part of ours.
Come wander.
Come treasure hunt.
Come have something from Brook's Bakery.
Come take a picture with the trucks.
Come see what we've been building.
And most importantly, come help us give all these old things their next story.
